This is the second necklace that I learned to make in my beginnings as an artisan, on the beach at Faro de Trafalgar. The piojillo necklace smells of leather, of the sea, of sand; and it sounds like laughter, jingle bells and Tinto de Verano.

I use 4 meters of leather that I intertwine to form a long cord, it is placed around the neck, letting the cord hang down the back or the chest.

And the coolest thing is that at the end of the braid it has beads of different materials: bells, sea shells, etc., that you can choose from. Yes, the end of the piojillo necklace is designed by you to your liking.

Do you feel like designing?

First choose the color of the leather: brown, hazelnut or two-tone

Then the finishing of the fringes: with bells, with shells, with metal balls...

Finally, the color tone of the decorative balls at the end of the braid: black/white, shades of green, blue, pink, red, or multicolored.
